Easy Shrimp Pasta

My mom and I decided to try this super simple and delicious recipe. We rushed through it because we were SO hungry after doing some errands. We even skipped a step but it still came out amazing. Also, it only took about 25 minutes.

You will need:
1 bag of frozen deveined shrimp (we got ours from Target, Market Pantry brand)
1 pack of linguine pasta
1-2 tbsp flat parsley
1 bottle of Barefoot Pinot Grigio
1 tbsp lemon pepper
4-5 tbsp butter
2-3 tbsp olive oil
half tsp black pepper

Directions:
Take the thawed out shrimp and put in a bowl. Add about a tablespoon of lemon pepper to the bowl. Have a pan with 2-3 tbsp of olive oil heating up. Add lemon peppered shrimp to the pan and let brown. As they’re browning, add the butter and about half a cup of wine. This should create a sauce. If it doesn’t create a sauce just add more wine and butter until it does, thats what we did! Go ahead a take a sip of that wine too. You should have your linguine boiling to al dente. Don’t forget the salt in your boiling pasta water. Go back to your shrimp and sprinkle some pepper. Take a handful of chopped parsley and that should be the final thing you add to your shrimp. Strain and drain your pasta. IMPORTANT: save a cup of your pasta water to add to entire dish, this will combine all that flavor more easily. Top it off with some yummy garlic bread and serve with a glass of that white wine. Enjoy!
